Volumetric weight charges are charged based on how much space the cargo parcel occupies in the shipping vessels. In these cases, usually the Volumetric Weight is calculated for the shipment cost of the courier parcel. Charges on your invoice will be based on the greater of the two: total actual weight versus total volumetric weight.
How long will it take to deliver courier parcels?

What is the responsibility of the sender while sending a package?
Regardless of any payment instructions or provisions to the contrary, the sender shall always remain liable for the charges including any duties and taxes. Senders should note terms and Conditions carefully and where necessary, obtain insurance cover in order to protect their interests.
What is the liability of signing for a package?
When you are signing for a package on delivery, you are signing that the delivery has been ?received in good condition?. Once this is signed, transit cover is then deemed void.
What is cargo service ?
Cargo (or freight) is goods or produce transported, generally for commercial gain, by ship or aircraft, although the term is now extended to intermodal train, van or truck.
Can Cargo service restrict some materials ?
Some items may endanger the safety of an aircraft or persons on board. The air transportation of these dangerous materials can either be forbidden or restricted.
What documents are needed to accompany shipment in cargo services ?
Consignments must be accompanied by a consignment note. All shipments, except documents, that travel outside India must also be accompanied by a commercial invoice.
