Problem Reported: | Consumer had booked a broadband connection in end June 2020 and paid the amount of ₹3327 online. Same day, they confirmed on email that the installation of the broadband connection will be completed within next 7 working days. However, as they were not able to provide the connection at his residence, he canceled the broadband connection and raised the refund request. The company informed him that he would get the refund cheque, but even after more than 7 months, he had not received it. | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the Company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded by the Company on the NCH Portal that the refund cheque had been sent to the consumer via courier and gave the courier details. | ||||
Consumer Remark in INGRAM: | I have received my refund cheque. I would request the ministry to take strict actions against the company so that they don't repeat these mistakes again. |
