Problem Reported: | In early February, 2021, consumer had booked a two wheeler and had paid the booking amount of ₹5000. He had got the booking confirmation message with the Order number.. After 3 days, the dealer showed the consumer the message which stated that the transaction was unsuccessful as received from the company. The Dealer suggested him to do the booking of the vehicle in their office. Consumer did the same and got the vehicle from the Dealer by making the full payment in cash. Thereafter, he made the request to the Company by e-mail and by phone to refund his booking amount of ₹5000 /-, but had not yet received it. | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the Automobile Company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that “We have contacted the customer and the booking amount has been refunded to the customer up to his satisfaction.” | ||||
Consumer Remark in INGRAM: | The Company returned the booking amount. However as a vigilant consumer, warning may please be issued not to commit such type of mistake in future. |
