Problem Reported: | Consumer had booked a tractor from an authorised dealer of the company with the booking amount of ₹ 20,000/- in January-2021 and the price of the Tractor was quoted at ₹ 6,50,000/- . Later, the consumer got to know that the market price of the same Tractor is ₹ 600,000/- , therefore he cancelled the booking and applied for a refund. However, the dealer had not refunded the amount. | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the tractor company is not a Convergence partner of NCH, the grievance was e-mailed to the company. As there was no response, a reminder was sent by NCH and thereafter the company responded that they had instructed the dealer to return the advance amount of 20,000/-. The dealer had refunded INR 20000 through an e-wallet, and had attached the confirmation against returned amount to the customer and had taken his signature also. | ||||
