Problem Reported: Consumer had purchased a pair of branded leather shoes in end January 2021 and had paid ₹4829/-. He had used it sparingly, only two times and to his surprise, the shoes lost its stability and color and when he went to the showroom to inquire they gave an explanation that the product only has three months warranty and the date had already past. He inquired if they could fix the same and they said that they can provide the service., so the Consumer left the product with them on their assurance. In the first week of May 2021, they sent the same to their service center in another city, and when he called them in mid May, 2021 they said that they can’t fix the product and started giving the excuses that the product was drenched in water and that can’t be repaired. Now he is left with the damaged product which is not reparable and it is still with their outlet branch.
Escalation by NCH: As the footwear company is not a Convergence partner of the national Consumer Helpline, the grievance was e-mailed to them, and the company responded that “We have offered replacement to the customer and he will soon visit our store for the same. Case has been resolved from our end.
Consumer Remark in INGRAM: Thank you Team as I got call yesterday for replacement and I have replaced it today.
