Problem Reported: | In the third week of April 2021, consumer had done a transaction of ₹5000 to a Mobile payment Solutions from a Bank prepaid card linked to an e- wallet. But, the transaction failed at merchant’s end, whereas the amount got debited from the e-wallet. The mobile payment solutions company confirmed that the transaction had failed. When consumer contacted the e-wallet company, he was assured that the amount would be refunded within 7-10 working days, but even after 10 working days, the amount had not been refunded. | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the Company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that “We wish to inform that your wallet transaction of INR5000 has been refunded into your xxx wallet.” | ||||
