Problem Reported: | In mid April 2021, Consumer tried to book the rail ticket through an APP, but while making the payment, the transaction failed and the amount of ₹8696/- got debited from his account. Later, he contacted the APP Company and was informed that the amount had been successfully transferred to the rail booking agency and was not reversed. Consumer wanted the amount to be refunded back in his account | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the Travel Company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded by the Company on the NCH Portal that “we regret the inconvenience caused to you. We have already given credit instructions to the payment gateway. Due to some technical problem in payment gateway, there is a delay in the refunding process. We assure you that the steps have already been taken for earlier refund and you may get the refund shortly.” | ||||
