|Consumer, in the third week of June 2021, tried to book a rail ticket through his payment Bank account, the amount of ₹2573/- got debited from his account, but he did not get the ticket. Later, he contacted the Payment Bank with the transaction id, and they informed him that the amount had been successfully transferred to the travel company and amount had not got reversed. Consumer contacted NCH, and wanted the amount to be refunded back in his account.
|Escalation by NCH:
|As the travel Company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded by the Company on the NCH Portal stating “Kindly note that we have given credit instructions to payment gateway. It will reflect in your account at the earliest. In future you are requested to use the Refund status Tracking service provided by the XXXXX .”
