Problem Reported: | Consumer’s friend had booked a parcel with an agency in early July 2021. The company insisted that he opt for the air route as it was safe and fast, so the consumer paid ₹ 900 and booked it. The agency promised to deliver the package in 3 working days. However, as there were no updates on the agency’s tracking site, he called the customer care after five days and raised the grievance with them. They assured him that they would deliver the parcel the next day without fail. However, it was not delivered. Now they were not responding to his calls and mails. Consumer was afraid that the package was lost and untraceable, which is worth ₹ 23000/-. As he did not get any response from the company, he raised his grievance at NCH. | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded on the NCH portal that “Shipment has been handed over to Mr.xxxx with the shipping charges. | ||||
