Problem Reported: | Consumer had purchased a branded colour printer in mid- June 2021 from an authorized dealer of the company and the amount paid was ₹ 12,600/-. After installation, the printer was printing black & white, so consumer called the company to know the reason. An engineer visited and checked the printer and said that the ink system inside the printer was damaged, and hence it was not working properly. Consumer contacted the company for replacement as it was a brand new printer. Initially the company said that they would replace the printer within 3 days, but later on, they denied to do so, citing shortage of printers as the reason. Then he contacted dealer for the replacement, but did not get any satisfactory resolution either from dealer or from the company | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the Company is convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the response received from the company stated “New Printer handed over and the new printer installation is completed. Printer is working fine”. | ||||
