Problem Reported: Consumer had foreclosed his Loan with a private sector Bank in the end of March 2021 and an amount of ₹4019/- should have been refunded back to him. Despite multiple requests he had not received the refund amount. The Bank had sent an account statement for the month of May 2021. After 15 days they had initiated the refund and it should have been credited to him in 3 to 4 working days. However he had not received the amount. Again, on request, they sent the account statement for June 2021, and the next day they again initiated the refund payment. It should have been credited to him in 3 to 4 working days but he had still not received the amount.
Escalation by NCH: As the company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that “Complaint was lodged regarding excess amount of Rs.4019 not refunded back. We wish to submit the below response. We contacted the complainant and customer confirmed that excess amount of Rs.4019 has been credited back to his account. Issue stands resolved.”
