|Consumer had applied for a Loan against property from an NBFC for which all the documents were submitted and loan was sanctioned. While, disbursing the loan amount, the company suddenly demanded additional documents of the new property to be purchased which had not been asked at the time of application. After paying off the processing fees, they were asking for additional documents which were not at all required, leading to unnecessary delay in the disbursement of the loan amount. Hence, he had requested the Company to cancel the loan request and refund the processing fees in his account.

|As the Finance Company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded by the Company on the NCH Portal that “This is with reference to your complaint about refund of processing fees paid towards approval of file number xxxxx. . As per your discussions with Branch Manager, we have processed the refund of your fees of ₹5900/-. You will receive the credit of the same in your bank account on or before xxxxxx.”
