Problem Reported: Consumer had applied for disconnection of his Landline in mid- March 2021 and subsequently had returned the telephone instrument to the service provider’s office. Also, he had submitted the application for refund of security amount. However, it had been more than a month the service provider had not reverted on his request for refund of security deposit.
Escalation by NCH: As the Service provider is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that “It is intimated that the payment of ₹2263/- of Refund has already been made by ECS in the Bank A/c of the esteemed subscriber on XXXX which has been credited in 1-2 days thereafter. She is advised to check his Bank A/c details.”
