Problem Reported: Consumer had booked a motorbike in early July 2021 from the company’s dealer with a booking amount of ₹ 5000/-. He was told that the booking amount was refundable, in case he changed his mind and did not want to buy the bike. On the very same day evening he reverted back to the dealership to cancel the booking as per their norms told by the executive of the showroom. However, he was now told that he would have to convince a relative or a friend to buy the bike or any two wheelers from the dealership. Consumer faced a lot of harassment and was humiliated, and was not given the refund also.
Escalation by NCH: As company is not a Convergence partner of NCH, the grievance was e-mailed to the company, and after one more reminder from NCH, the company responded, “Customer Educated about the query/ Concern raised”,
Consumer Remark in INGRAM: Company has refunded the sum Rs.5000 after they have received mail from NCH.
