Problem Reported: Consumer had purchased a TV from an online shopping portal along with an extended warranty. The extended warranty was issued by an agency, which was valid till mid -September 2021. The TV started showing some problems, because of which he registered the grievance with the agency in the second week of June 2021. A person visited his home and inspected the TV and said it will need a panel replacement, and they would contact him once the part arrives. In between he had made multiple calls and emails and they had no answer and were saying it would be done soon but nothing happened.
Escalation by NCH: As company is not a Convergence partner of NCH, the grievance was e-mailed to the company, and the company responded that “The defective pickup is completed and the refund amount will be credited to consumer bank account within 5 business days.”
