Problem Reported: Consumer had ordered a branded trimmer from a large branded Departmental store and for which he had paid an amount of ₹3275. As the order delivery got delayed, he requested them to cancel the order and process the refund. The Company returned ₹275, which was paid using net banking but the remaining amount of ₹3000 was not returned, which was paid using a gift card. Consumer had sent several mails regarding this, but had not received any response.
Escalation by NCH: As the Company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on as “We are pleased to inform you that the refund has been initiated successfully from our end into your E-gift voucher.”
