Problem Reported: | Consumer has taken a prepaid Broadband & Internet connection, and was asked to use it for free on trial bases, for which the consumer paid ₹ 1500 as a security deposit. Consumer had cancelled the connection before the expiry period of the trial in the second week of July 2021, but nobody had come to collect the device and hence, no refund initiated. Consumer raised his grievance to the service provider’s customer care four times but his problem was not resolved. | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the telecom service provider is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal stating ‘our team visited customer location and collected devices and refund process has been initiated for customer” | ||||
