Problem Reported: Consumer had purchased a branded smart TV with extended warranty from a third party in the third week of October 2019 by paying ₹ 30988/-. The TV’s standby light had become dim, and was getting dimmer day by day. As the TV was under extended warranty, in mid- August 2021 he asked for a technician visit and booked a time slot for the next day, but no one came. After two days, he received a call from the company’s service center informing him about the technician’s visit, and in the evening they called again to know the issue being faced. The technician was to visit the next day, but despite postponing every day, no technician had turned up even after four days.
Escalation by NCH: As the company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that “Stand by light issue has been resolved and replaced. Taken confirmation from the customer - Customer's concern is resolved and the TV is working fine”.
Consumer Remark in INGRAM: My Issue resolved after grievance and 6 days taken to solve the issue and xxxxx company service is not good. My issue is resolved just because I have grievance in NCH. However company has told me didn't come under warranty Thank you.
