Problem Reported: | Consumer had a Health Insurance Policy from a private Insurance company. His wife had been hospitalized, and he had raised the reimbursement claim request in mid- July 2021 for an amount of ₹15,000 for the treatment of Carpal tunnel syndrome surgery. All the documents had been submitted, but the Company was not providing any response on the status of the claim request raised. The Company was neither attending to his request, either on calls or on email. | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the Company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded by the Company on the NCH Portal stating “We wish to inform you that the claim amount of ₹15000/- towards the captioned claim has been processed and paid vide NEFT dated xxxx.” | ||||
