Problem Reported: Consumer had hired the services of website designing and maintenance from a company, but the services provided were not according to the catalogue and demo shown to him and as per his requirements. Hence consumer cancelled the service and applied for the refund which was agreed by the company too, but now after several follow-ups they denied to refund the amount.
Escalation by NCH: As the company is not under Convergence partnership with the National Consumer helpline, the grievance was e-mailed to the company and after reminders were sent the company responded that “Refund of Rs. 4050/- (Rupees Four Thousand and Fifty only) has been transferred where the Bank Reference number of the said transaction is xxxxx.”
