Problem Reported: Consumer had purchased a motorcycle from the company’s authorized dealer in June 2018 which, he was told, had a warranty period of 5 years. However, during his visit to the service center in the third week of Aug 2021, he checked the warranty period and got to know that his vehicle did not have any warranty since June 2018. The Service Manager at the dealership denied providing any kind of services.
Escalation by NCH: As the company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that “Dealer accepted his mistake of not registering xxx and apologized to customer. Dealer given a warranty letter to customer and assured that if any issue will come then it will be handled as per xxxxx (the company’s) Warranty policy by dealer. Customer is satisfied.”
