Problem Reported: Consumer had ordered a branded mobile handset through their official website in the first week of Sept 2021 and had paid ₹80749/-. Due to some reason, on the same day he cancelled the order and raised a refund request. The company had informed him that it would take 10 days for processing his refund, but the stipulated days were already over, and he had not received the amount. He had sent an e-mail also, but they were delaying to provide the refund.
Escalation by NCH: As the company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that “ we have initiated refund of INR 80749.05/- on xxxx against your order xxxx. The refund will reflect in your original mode of payment. This may take up to 7-10 working days to reflect in your card/ bank account statement. Kindly contact your respective bank for EMI cancellation (If applicable). Customer agree with given information.”
