Problem Reported: | Consumer had bought a Laptop/Notebook along with a 1 Year Screen Repair warranty plan from an online shopping portal in mid - August 2021 and had made the payment of ₹ 42789/-. The shopping portal cancelled the order five days later, without informing the consumer and did not refund the amount paid. He raised his grievance with the portal many times, but had not received any response from them. He wanted the refund. | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the shopping portal company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that “ As per customer he wants to cancel the warranty as order canceled by seller. Out call done, informed customer we have processed the refund. Mail marked to customer with ARN: xxxxxxxx, ARN xxxxx, Amount: 40,990/-, 1799/-, Refund processed. | ||||
