Problem Reported: Consumer had bought a laptop in mid – October 2019, for ₹39926/-. After using it for about 3 months, as the keypad was not working properly, the service engineer visited and replaced it. Thereafter, after about 6 months, the hinges were repaired by the company. Now again after about a year, the hinges of the laptop again had a problem, and the laptop was in an unusable condition. Consumer had requested the company for servicing under the warranty period, or provide a replacement, as he was able to use the laptop for very short period
Escalation by NCH: As the electronics product company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal stating ‘Spare has been replaced. Hence customer needs to visit the service center to collect the unit.’
