Problem Reported: | Consumer had withdrawn an amount of ₹10,000 from the ATM machine of a PSU Bank, in mid -October 2021. The amount did not get dispensed from the ATM machine but had got deducted from his bank account. He had lodged the grievance with the bank also. He wanted the amount to be refunded at the earliest. | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the Bank is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the Bank on the NCH Portal stating “we would like apprise by our concerned department/branch/office that the disputed amount ₹ 10000/- has been credited in customer account." | ||||
Consumer Remark in INGRAM: | When NCH contacted the consumer, he confirmed that the amount of ₹10,000 has been credited in his account. |
