Problem Reported: | Consumer had placed an order for a mobile handset from an online shopping portal in early October 2021, and paid ₹16,999/- consumer. After 3 days, when he received the product, he found that it was defective as its flash/ / torch light was not working. He raised a return request and asked for replacement but it was rejected without any valid reason. Company even arranged a technician visit to his place but the technician was not able to resolve the issue in the handset. Consumer contacted customer care several times but did not get any proper response. | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the company is convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the response received from company on the NCH Portal was “We would like to inform you that as per our records the above mentioned shipment is delivered to you on xxxxx 2021. If for some reason this remains undelivered, please let us know so that we will take appropriate action to ensure the delivery”. | ||||
