|Consumer had placed an order of metal open book shelf + home town study table and xxxx leather office arm chair from an online shopping portal in the second week of October 2021, and paid ₹ 9500/-. Thereafter, the consumer realized that he was not happy with the size of the chair so he raised a cancellation request for the chair , and asked for the refund of the chair priced at ₹3050/-.The company delivered the chair even after cancellation and told him that the chair is non-returnable and they cannot provide any return and refund. Hence, the consumer wanted to register a complaint.

|As the online shopping portal is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the response received from the company on the NCH Portal stated that “we’re writing to let you know that the courier service provider has confirmed that the pickup of xxxx Leatherette Office Arm Chair was picked up on xxxxx21. Also seller has completed the refund of ₹3049/- on xx Nov 21 which will reflect in your account before xx Nov 21. Bank reference number – xxxxxxxxxxxx”
