Problem Reported: Consumer had traveled by a domestic airline from one city to another and back in September 2021. After his journey was completed, he requested the airline for a travel certificate, which was issued to him, after paying the required fees. But in the travel certificate, the amounts mentioned under different heads and the total of those amounts do not match. The Aviation Security fee of ₹1416/- was not mentioned and neither was it taken in the calculation. Consumer had made a few phone calls with customer care, few e-mails and few tweets also, but no one was taking the responsibility to correct the amounts mentioned in the certificate.
Escalation by NCH: As the Airlines Company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that “As per our records, the correct travel certificate has already been shared with you. We assure you of our best attention at all times.”
