Problem Reported: Consumer had purchased a branded mobile handset in November 2020 and paid ₹ 11,000/. His grievance was that the mobile display was not working after using it for about 10 months. He visited the service center, and was told that as there are scratches on the screen they will not repair the mobile under warranty, although there were no scratches and the mobile was under warranty. Finally, his handset was picked in mid- September 2021 and after 4 days he received a call from the service center that the mobile had been repaired and he would receive it in 2 days, but in the docket updated on 23rd September , he said that he was supposed to get the handset on till 21/9/2021 he till now he had not received the mobile handset.
Escalation by NCH: As the company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH portal that “Had a word with the customer and as per him, the issue has been resolved. Hence, the case stands closed”.
Consumer Remark in INGRAM: Excellent. My issue now resolved thanks thanks thanks to NCH. I got my phone just because I put my issue on NCH portal and after company arrange repair service for me. Now issue resolved thanks thanks thanks to consumer helpline. And consumer helpline staff also supportive
