Problem Reported: | Consumer had placed an order for a ladies suit from an online shopping portal in the last week of September 2021 and had paid ₹.1392/. He was delivered a Saree instead of the ladies suit. When he raised his grievance to the company, and said that he wanted to return the wrong product delivered, the online shopping portal did not accept the return request. He contacted the company many times but did not get a response. He wanted the company to take the product back and refund his money. | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the online shopping portal is in convergence with the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that “Your manual refund of Rs. 1391 for this order has been processed on xxxxx. It should reflect in your bank account within 2 - 3 working days.” | ||||
