Problem Reported: Consumer had booked two flight tickets by different Airlines for going and return for ₹17,500/- , but as the Airlines canceled the flight by which consumer had to go, he cancelled the return flight as well. Consumer updated this to the online travel agency and they said that they would provide the full refund as the flight was canceled by the airline. After some time when the refund was not received, he approached the company but they did not give any satisfactory response. He then contacted the National Consumer Helpline.
Escalation by NCH: As the Online Travel Company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that “your query has been addressed as your correct refund has been processed from our side today itself and it will be reflected to your same mode of payment within 5-7 working days. Till the time your patience is highly appreciated.”
