Problem Reported: Consumer had ordered a branded washing machine from an online shopping portal for ₹ 16,790 in mid- January 2022, but due to some reason he cancelled the order on the very next day. He had made payment by using cash back card, and the online portal initiated and settled the refund on the same day itself, and as per the finance company it takes around 7-10 days to settle the refund in the wallet. But even after 10 days, the amount was still not credited in his wallet, and the finance company told him to have patience, but even after 20 days, the amount had still not been credited.
Escalation by NCH: As the finance company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the response received from company on the NCH portal stated that “We wish to inform you that the refund of INR 16623.00 has been credited to your wallet on xxxxx ”
Consumer Remark in INGRAM: After the complaint in the National Consumer Helpline, i got my refund, thank you so much.
