Problem Reported: | Consumer had booked a branded mobile from an online shopping portal in first –week of May and had paid ₹14499. Two times, company had dispatched the mobile but could not deliver. First time, they gave reason that the product got damaged in transit and now again he had been assured that the mobile will be deliver soon. But, till date it is not delivered. | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the online shopping portal is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that.’ We would like to let you know that the seller has initiated the refund amount of ₹ 14499/- back to your source on xxxxxx (date) and which will be credited by xxxxxx (date) as per standard banking procedures. Although we can't make up for the trouble you've been through, we'll share the feedback with the seller to put more measures in place to avoid such instances next time around.
