Problem Reported: Consumer had booked an online cab service in the end of December 2021. It was an emergency, cab details were not shared with him. At the last minute the cab driver called him and asked him to cancel the ride within 5 minutes so that cancellation fee is not charged. Consumer did the same, but was wrongly charged with the cancellation fee. He had tried to raise his grievance many times but it was showed “technical error" in the app. He had sent an e-mail to the company, but had not received any reply
Escalation by NCH: As the e-commerce company is a convergence partner of NCH, the grievance was responded by them on the portal itself stating”. As discussed, we have granted you a coupon worth Rs. 150/- valid till xxxx. You can utilize this coupon for future rides. They also explained the steps to be followed.
