Problem Reported: Consumer had tried to book an Airline ticket in the second week of Sept. 2022. After making the payment there was no PNR number generated and the ticket did not get booked. The amount deducted was ₹ 53856/-. Consumer immediately checked with the Airlines customer care on the same day and had been assured that the amount would be refunded back to his account within 10 days. However despite multiple follow ups, the amount had not been refunded back. When speaking to the Airlines customer care personnel, they just assured that the refund would get done soon. Considering that it had been more than 18 days, the consumer requested for NCH help to get his money refunded at the earliest.
Escalation by NCH: As the online travel company is a convergence partner of NCH, the grievance was responded by them on the portal itself stating”. Please be informed that the refund of Rs.53856 has been initiated at our end, which shall be reflected in your account within 5-7 working days. Please find the refund id for your reference and check with your bank for the refund claim”
