Problem Reported: | The annual fee of the debit card of ₹ 236 was taken twice from the consumer’s bank account, within a matter of 3 weeks. He had complained to the bank, and they informed him that as he had two debit cards, the charges were levied for each. Consumer was surprised as he did not have a second debit card, but got to know from the Bank that the second debit card was running since 2018. Although the bank had closed the second debit card the fee charged had not been refunded. | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the PSU Bank is a convergence partner of NCH, the grievance was responded on the portal itself that ‘the annual charges for ATM have been reversed in customer's account.” | ||||
