Problem Reported: | Consumer had booked a flight ticket from Bengaluru to Bombay in end April 2022. The booking was cancelled by the agency due to some issues. The agency promised the refund within a week. However, even after more than 6 months, he had not got the refund. All the calls and emails to the online travel portal went in vain. There was no proper response from the company’s support team. He requested NCH for Help | ||||
Escalation by NCH: | As the portal is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded on the portal itself that ‘We would like to inform you that the customer made the payment late due to which the ticket could not be confirmed. Therefore, we have processed a refund for the customer via account transfer and have provided them with a UTR number. | ||||
