Problem Reported: Consumer, while booking a room for a single day through the service providers App showed the amount to be ₹ 479/- but during check-in, the amount charged was ₹ 1000/-. Amount paid was through UPI to the property owner's account, but thereafter, after complaining to the customer care of the company, they promised to refund the amount after check out, as they would have to verify the owner's name. Later on, the refund got initiated in early Jan 2023 and the same was confirmed stating that it should be credited within 14 days. However, consumer had not received the refund. He requested NCH to do the needful for refund completion.
Escalation by NCH: As the company is a not a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was forwarded to the company
Consumer Remark in INGRAM: Very Good! Claimed refund has been credited to my account yesterday after one week of your follow up. I express gratitude and thank you very much for your kind support and swift action.
