Problem Reported: Consumer, after checking out all the available offers on the company’s website, had placed the order for a branded laptop, availing one of the offers. The invoice was also received, but thereafter he came to know that the order would have to be placed on another website of the same company, with the purchase details as mentioned in the invoice copy. Accordingly, when the consumer mentioned all the details the website showed no offers available. On contacting the customer care, he was informed that the offer had expired already and the website was not updated. Customer care was not ready to solve the problem.
Escalation by NCH: As the company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was acknowledged by the company.
Consumer Remark in INGRAM: Excellent! Thanks for your support. The company accepted that it was their mistake and agreed to provide the offer that they have committed.
