Problem Reported: Consumer had booked a flight ticket from Delhi to Chennai. The Private Airlines canceled the flight, and he got the message from the Airlines that they would refund the money to the travel portal, but even after two months the travel portal had not refunded him the amount. He had sent several mails to them but they always ignored his mails and had not refunded the money till now.
Escalation by NCH: As the company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the company responded to the grievance on the NCH Portal stating that “the full refund had been processed in the same mode of payment which was used at the time of booking, and had given the refund date and amount: INR 10222.00. They also informed that usually, it takes 10 - 15 working days to receive the refund into the same mode of payment, and also to note that the convenience fee of INR 1050.00 (INR 350 per passenger) which was paid at the time of booking was nonrefundable.”
Consumer Remark in INGRAM: I am happy that this site made by govt. The company refunded my money.
