Problem Reported: Consumer has a personal loan account with a mid-sized private Bank. In October 2020, the bank had deducted ₹ 10444/- from his loan account without his consent for an Insurance/Loan Policy plan of ₹ 4504/-and the Bank’s Security Advisory charges of ₹ 5940/-. Consumer has raised the grievance with the Bank officials many times by e-mail that they either refund the amount or adjust ₹10444 in his personal loan account, but the issue has not been resolved.
Escalation by NCH: As the company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that ‘We confirm that Insurance amount of INR 4,504.00 and Advisory charge of INR 5,940.00 has been refunded to your account respectively.
Consumer Remark in INGRAM: When NCH spoke to the consumer, he confirmed that the issue had been resolved, and he had got the refund.
