Problem Reported Consumer had applied for disconnection of his Landline in mid- March 2021 and subsequently had returned the telephone instrument to the service providerโ€™s office. Also, he had submitted the application for refund of security amount. However, it had been more than a month the service provider had not reverted on his request for refund of security deposit.
Escalation by NCH As the Service provider is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that โ€œIt is intimated that the payment of โ‚น2263/- of Refund has already been made by ECS in the Bank A/c of the esteemed subscriber on XXXX which has been credited in 1-2 days thereafter. She is advised to check his Bank A/c details.โ€
