Problem Reported In mid–Oct 2021, consumer had booked a Hotel and Tour package from an online travel portal and had paid an amount of ₹48,500/-. And, on the day of travel the flight got cancelled. He immediately raised the grievance with the company to cancel the Hotel package also, and process the refund of full amount paid. But, the online travel company refunded only ₹29,500/- instead of ₹48,500/-.
Escalation by NCH As the Travel Company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded by the Company on the NCH Portal that “We would like to inform you that the applicable refund of INR 47525/- is processed from our end in your account. Please find below the RRN details for your reference.”
