Problem Reported | Consumer had ordered shoes of a very well reputed brand from an online shopping portal in end July 2019 but within 10 days of its use, the sole came out. So, he asked for refund or replacement, but the online portal said that the company would take care of this. When he contacted the company, they got the shoes picked and assured that they would refund the amount but even after seven months they had not done the refund. He requested NCH to look into this. | ||||
Escalation by NCH | As the company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the company responded to the grievance on the NCH portal that they had “already shared a Gift Voucher worth INR 974/- with him against the purchase and they were hopeful that they were able to address the concern raised.” | ||||
