Problem Reported Consumer made a purchase through an online shopping website in early January 2021, and had paid ₹6099/- from debit card of his PSU Bank account. The transaction got cancelled by the shopping website, and they refunded the money five days later. They also provided the RRN for successful refund but even after almost 25 days, the consumer had not received the amount in his bank account. He had contacted customer care of the bank, and had also visited the bank branch many times but no solution was provided.
Escalation by NCH As the Bank is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline; the grievance was responded by the Bank on the NCH Portal that “ “Amount is credited in account on 17.02.2021.”
