Problem Reported Consumer had ordered a branded mobile handset in end March 2021 from a multibrand retail outlet’s website and had paid ₹ 23,500. The consumer had received the order confirmation, but had not received the product. When he spoke to customer care of the retail outlet chain, they informed him that his order had been cancelled and that the refund would be initiated, but had not yet got his refund.
Escalation by NCH As the company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH portal that “refund has been done at our end, request the customer to please check source account for refund. Hence, we are closing this case”.
