Problem Reported Consumer has a savings account in a large Private Sector Bank. In the first week of June 2021, he was a victim of a scam on social media. Someone had taken his debit card details and he lost an amount of ₹ 30,000. After that he approached the bank, but did not get any resolution.
Escalation by NCH As the Private sector bank is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the Bank on the NCH Portal that ‘Our official communicated that the amount has been credited to beneficiary.’
