Consumer had purchased a branded smart TV with extended warranty from a third party in the third week of October 2019 by paying ₹ 30988/-. The TV’s standby light had become dim, and was getting dimmer day by day. As the TV was under extended warranty, in mid- August 2021 he asked for a technician visit and booked a time slot for the next day, but no one came. After two days, he received a call from the company’s service center informing him about the technician’s visit, and in the evening they called again to know the issue being faced. The technician was to visit the next day, but despite postponing every day, no technician had turned up even after four days. |
