Problem Reported Consumer had ordered some furniture for his child from an online furniture portal in end July 2021 by paying ₹ 4148/-. But the product that he received was not as good as it appeared in the picture. The quality of the product was not as good as the price and the size was also quite small and hence consumer raised the return request within the time limit provided to him. But the portal had neither called back nor was responding to his mails and had not even come to pick up the product. And when he called them back, they told him to send the picture of the product with a measuring tape. They were not taking the product back even though the return request was raised well within time. His ₹ 4148 are held up for no reason.
Escalation by NCH As the company is a convergence partner of the National Consumer Helpline, the grievance was responded by the company on the NCH Portal that “the refund for this order has been processed into the original source of payment and the refund amount will reflect in your source a/c within 7 - 10 biz days”.
