Consumer had paid the bill of his Bank of Baroda credit card in mid-August 2021 through an APP, which showed that the transaction was successful, but after a few days he got to know that the transaction had failed. This resulted in the payment of his credit card being overdue, and due to this, the bank charged around ₹1000 as penalty charges on his card. Later, although the consumer got the refund of the failed transaction the penalty charges were already levied by the bank. Consumer had informed the same to the bank, but had not got any response from them. |
